Key Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive automated test suites for system-level testing, including performance, scalability, reliability, and integration tests. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrated with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar to enable continuous testing. Create test environments that mirror production setups using containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure). Analyze test failures, debug complex issues, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve them proactively. Mentor junior SDETs and developers on testing best practices, code quality, and automation strategies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of experience in software development and testing, with at least 4 years focused on automation and systems testing. Proven track record in a senior SDET or similar role within a high-growth tech company. Strong programming proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with experience in test frameworks like pytest, JUnit, or Robot Framework. Skills Expertise in distributed systems testing, including load testing with tools like Locust, JMeter, or k6. Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes), cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code (Terraform). Proficiency in version control (Git), agile methodologies, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana). Excellent problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to testing and optimization.
