H&S Energy Group is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in California. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing information about our energy products and services. The position requires a proactive individual who can manage high volumes of customer interactions while maintaining professionalism and accuracy at all times. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of issues and contribute to overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound customer calls, responding to emails and chat inquiries, processing service requests and account updates, documenting all interactions in the company CRM system, and escalating complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary. You will also educate customers on billing procedures, service plans, and energy-saving options while promoting company initiatives and maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines. Daily tasks involve meeting performance metrics related to response time, resolution rate, and customer feedback scores.
Required Qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous customer service experience in a call center or retail environment preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously. Attention to detail, patience under pressure, and a solutions-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
Skills required include active listening, problem-solving, time management, conflict resolution, and empathy. Familiarity with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and phone systems is advantageous. The ability to work independently while contributing to team goals is highly valued. Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus but not mandatory.
