Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and other digital channels, ensuring accurate and empathetic resolutions. Process claims, update member records, and provide clear explanations of coverage options, policy details, and billing information. Educate customers on Cigna's healthcare products and services to enhance their experience and promote self-service tools. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues, conduct quality assurance checks on interactions, and maintain detailed documentation in our CRM systems. Consistently meet performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores (CSAT). Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on healthcare regulations, product changes, and best practices in customer service. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, ideally in healthcare, insurance, or call center environments. Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Must be authorized to work in the US and able to pass a background check. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Skills: Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities to handle diverse customer needs. Empathy and patience in high-volume, fast-paced settings. Multitasking proficiency to manage multiple interactions simultaneously. Technical aptitude for navigating healthcare databases and telephony systems.
