Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, helpful assistance throughout their shopping experience. Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale systems while handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment. Assist customers with product location, pricing inquiries, and merchandise selection. Maintain cleanliness and organization of store displays, shelves, and checkout areas. Stock shelves and rotate merchandise to ensure products are fresh and properly displayed. Handle customer complaints and returns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a secure shopping environment. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and support inventory management activities. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education is preferred. Previous retail or customer service experience is beneficial but not required. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age and able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. Basic mathematical skills and the ability to operate cash registers are essential. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial for interacting with diverse customers.
