BSN Sports is seeking a motivated Field Sales Professional to join our team in Kansas City, Kansas. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to build relationships with schools, athletic programs, and sports organizations while promoting high-quality athletic equipment and apparel solutions. The role requires regular travel throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area and surrounding regions to meet with coaches, athletic directors, and purchasing managers to understand their needs and present tailored product recommendations. Key Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and relationship building with educational institutions and sports organizations. You will conduct product demonstrations, prepare customized sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. The position requires maintaining accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets established by regional leadership. Required Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, along with proven sales experience preferably in the sports, education, or B2B sectors. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for extensive field work across the territory. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders including coaches, administrators, and procurement professionals. Essential Skills for success in this role include consultative selling techniques, CRM software proficiency, territory management, product knowledge development, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with sports equipment or athletic apparel is highly valued.
