Lewis Automotive Group is seeking a motivated Automotive Sales and Leasing Consultant to join our team in Hays, Kansas. In this customer-focused role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for individuals interested in purchasing or leasing new and pre-owned vehicles. You will leverage your product knowledge and consultative approach to match clients with vehicles that meet their lifestyle and budget needs. Key Responsibilities include greeting and engaging walk-in customers, conducting vehicle demonstrations, explaining financing and leasing programs, negotiating pricing within dealership guidelines, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through delivery. You will also follow up with prospects, maintain accurate CRM records, and collaborate with the finance and service departments to ensure seamless customer experiences. Daily activities involve floor time, outbound calls, appointment setting, and participation in local marketing events. Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and prior sales or customer service experience preferably in automotive or retail. Candidates must be comfortable working extended hours including evenings and weekends. Essential Skills encompass strong communication and interpersonal abilities, active listening, negotiation, time management, and proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
