The Marketing Assistant NF-03 position at U.S. Army MWR Fort Riley plays a vital role in promoting recreational programs, events, and services to military personnel, families, and the broader community. This full-time role focuses on creating compelling marketing content, managing digital platforms, and supporting outreach initiatives that strengthen community connections on the installation.
Key Responsibilities include developing and executing marketing plans for events and programs, designing flyers, posters, and digital graphics, managing social media accounts to increase engagement, coordinating with program managers to gather content needs, maintaining accurate marketing calendars, assisting with photography and videography at events, tracking campaign performance through analytics, supporting advertising placements, and ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in marketing, advertising, or public relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with social media platforms are essential. Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
