Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with CRM platforms, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear recommendations are essential.
Additional skills valued for success in this position include consultative selling techniques, relationship-building with farmers and agribusinesses, data analysis for territory planning, time management, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative sales team. Familiarity with digital tools for remote customer engagement and a valid driver’s license for occasional field visits are also beneficial.
NativeSeed Group is a leader in native grass and forage seed production, committed to sustainable agriculture and customer success throughout the Great Plains. Employees enjoy a supportive team environment, ongoing training in the latest agronomic practices, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects that improve soil health and farm profitability.
Benefits include competitive base salary plus commission, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off, and professional development support. Career growth opportunities range from advancing into regional sales leadership or technical specialist roles to participating in product development and market expansion initiatives. With a strong pipeline of new seed varieties and expanding customer demand, this position offers long-term stability and advancement potential within a growing agricultural company.
