Job Overview: The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking a dynamic Membership Sales Representative - Elite to join our team in Russell, KS. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our network of independent businesses by promoting NFIB memberships that provide advocacy, resources, and protection for small business owners across America. As an Elite representative, you will engage with local entrepreneurs, highlight the tangible benefits of membership, and contribute to NFIB's mission of championing free enterprise. Key Responsibilities: Your primary focus will be generating new memberships through proactive outreach, including cold calling, networking events, and door-to-door visits in the Russell area. You will conduct compelling sales presentations, address prospect concerns, and close deals by demonstrating how NFIB delivers lobbying power, legal services, discounts, and business tools. Additionally, you will maintain accurate sales records, follow up with leads, achieve and exceed monthly targets, and collaborate with the regional team to support retention efforts. Travel within the territory will be required, offering variety and opportunities to build lasting relationships with business owners. Required Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. You must have at least 2 years of proven sales experience, ideally in B2B or membership sales. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential due to field-based activities. Comfort with technology for CRM systems and mobile apps is necessary. Skills: Exceptional communication and persuasion skills are critical, paired with resilience and a results-driven mindset.
