We are seeking a dedicated part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our West Des Moines, IA location. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations focused on men's health issues such as low testosterone, sexual dysfunction, and metabolic concerns. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, administer injections, and perform minor procedures like phlebotomy and hormone level testing. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination and follow-up. Educate patients on treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health strategies to promote long-term wellness. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols. Participate in clinic operations, including patient scheduling, inventory management of medications and supplies, and quality improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Active Iowa state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA). Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care, endocrinology, urology, or men's health. DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Iowa. Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Master's degree or higher from an accredited NP or PA program. Skills Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with expertise in men's health conditions. Excellent patient communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust and rapport. Proficiency in EHR systems and medical software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinic setting. Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
