The Sales Operations Analyst II at Thermo Fisher Scientific plays a critical role in enhancing sales effectiveness through data-driven analysis and strategic process improvements. This position works closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities that strengthen market position and improve customer engagement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, developing dashboards and reporting tools, identifying trends and patterns that impact revenue generation, and recommending process improvements to streamline operations. The analyst collaborates with sales teams to create accurate forecasts, manages territory planning initiatives, and supports the implementation of sales tools and technologies. Additional duties involve conducting competitive analysis, preparing executive-level presentations, and ensuring data integrity across CRM and sales platforms.
Required Qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in business, finance, statistics, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a similar analytical role. Candidates should demonstrate strong proficiency in data analysis tools and sales technologies.
Essential Skills include advanced Excel capabilities, experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Familiarity with business intelligence tools and statistical analysis methods is highly valued.
