Job Overview
ThinkMarkets, a leading global online trading broker, is seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing to spearhead our marketing efforts from our Chicago office. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will craft and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that propels customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty in the fast-paced forex and CFD trading industry. This executive role offers the chance to influence the direction of a high-growth fintech company with a strong international presence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, including digital campaigns, content marketing, SEO, PPC, and social media initiatives. Oversee a talented marketing team, fostering collaboration and driving performance to exceed KPIs such as lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI. Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to optimize campaigns and enhance Thinktrader's market position. Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring maximum impact while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Partner with product, sales, and compliance teams to launch new trading products and features with integrated go-to-market plans. Cultivate relationships with key influencers, partners, and media outlets to amplify brand reach. Leverage data analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and refine strategies for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within fintech, trading, or financial services. Proven track record of scaling marketing programs in competitive markets, with demonstrated success in B2B and B2C environments. Deep knowledge of financial markets, trading platforms, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CFTC, NFA).

Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar. Expertise in digital marketing channels, including SEO/SEM, email automation, and performance marketing. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Creative problem-solver with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
