Job Overview American Fidelity Sales Careers is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Hays, Kansas. In this full-time field-based role, you will represent our trusted portfolio of supplemental insurance and financial services products, engaging directly with businesses and individuals to meet their protection needs. Key Responsibilities Prospect and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and community events to identify potential clients in the local market. Conduct face-to-face consultations to assess customer needs and present tailored insurance solutions, such as life, disability, and annuity products. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business owners to secure renewals and referrals. Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by closing deals and providing outstanding service. Manage your sales pipeline using CRM tools, prepare quotes, and handle necessary paperwork for policy issuance. Collaborate with regional managers for strategy alignment and participate in ongoing product training to stay ahead in the industry. Represent American Fidelity professionally at all times, embodying our commitment to integrity and customer-first values. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle essential for territory travel. At least 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or B2B environments. Must be able to pass state licensing requirements for insurance sales (company support provided). Strong understanding of sales cycles and customer relationship management principles. Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse clients. Proven track record of meeting sales quotas in competitive settings. Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software like Salesforce.
