Core duties include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, obtaining detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging studies, and developing appropriate treatment plans. The provider will diagnose and manage common urgent care conditions including respiratory infections, minor fractures, lacerations, sprains, skin conditions, and gastrointestinal complaints. Additional responsibilities encompass prescribing medications, administering injections and immunizations, performing minor procedures such as wound care and splinting, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation within the electronic health record system. Candidates must hold current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Colorado, along with national board certification and DEA registration. A minimum of one year of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care is preferred. Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting are essential.
