Job Overview
Arthrex, a global leader in minimally invasive orthopedic surgical products, is seeking a motivated Orthopedic Associate Sales Representative to join our team in Hays, KS. In this full-time role, you will support the sales of cutting-edge arthroscopy instruments, implants, and disposables to surgeons, hospitals, and clinics, contributing to improved patient outcomes through advanced medical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new leads within the assigned territory, conducting product demonstrations and educational workshops for orthopedic surgeons and healthcare staff. Manage a robust sales pipeline, achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets by building strong relationships with key decision-makers. Provide technical support during surgeries, ensuring seamless product integration and troubleshooting any issues on-site. Collaborate closely with the field sales team, regional managers, and marketing to develop customized sales strategies and execute promotional campaigns. Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare sales reports, and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities. Attend trade shows, conferences, and training sessions to stay updated on industry advancements and represent Arthrex professionally.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in medical devices, orthopedics, or pharmaceuticals. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive environment. Willingness to travel extensively within the Hays, KS territory, including overnight stays as needed. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with surgeons and medical professionals effectively. Strong technical aptitude for understanding complex orthopedic products and surgical procedures. Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
