Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team at Medical Director Services PC. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a clinical environment located in Hughes Springs, Texas. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical services to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with supervising physicians. Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide follow-up care to monitor patient progress. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with advances in clinical practice.
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas. Certification from a nationally recognized certifying body such as AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA. Minimum of one year of clinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, or a related specialty. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with the ability to manage acute and chronic conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
