Job Overview: Nextech, a leader in specialty healthcare technology, is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Manager for its Ophthalmology division. In this pivotal remote role based anywhere in the United States, you will spearhead sales efforts for our innovative EHR, practice management, and revenue cycle solutions tailored to ophthalmology practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets within the ophthalmology sector. Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities with private practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and multi-specialty groups. Conduct product demonstrations, manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation, and build lasting relationships with key decision-makers such as practice administrators and physicians. Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and product teams to deliver customized solutions and ensure seamless onboarding. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and report performance metrics to senior leadership using CRM tools like Salesforce. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of proven B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in medical device, SaaS, or healthcare IT sales, preferably in ophthalmology or eye care. Demonstrated track record of meeting or surpassing quota in a territory management role. Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings, trade shows, and industry conferences. Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences. Strong negotiation and closing abilities, coupled with deep knowledge of ophthalmology workflows, terminology, and regulatory requirements like HIPAA and MACRA. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools. Self-motivated with excellent time management, problem-solving, and relationship-building expertise.
