Stryker is actively recruiting a Regional Trauma Sales Representative to support the Central and Midatlantic regions. This field-based sales role focuses on promoting and selling Stryker's trauma product portfolio to hospitals, surgeons, and healthcare facilities. The representative will play a critical role in expanding market presence, building lasting partnerships, and ensuring customers have access to cutting-edge trauma solutions that enhance surgical outcomes and patient care.
Key Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within assigned territories, conducting product demonstrations and in-service training for surgeons and operating room staff, maintaining and growing existing customer accounts through regular visits and relationship management, collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, clinical specialists, and customer service to support sales initiatives, achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets while managing territory expenses, providing market intelligence and competitive analysis to leadership, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of medical device or healthcare sales experience. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively throughout the assigned region. Preferred experience includes previous trauma or orthopedic sales background and established relationships with hospitals and surgeons in the Central or Midatlantic markets.
Essential Skills include strong communication and presentation abilities, excellent relationship-building capabilities, proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools, knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures, and the ability to work independently while meeting aggressive sales goals.
