Circle K is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing friendly and efficient service to every customer who walks through our doors. You will handle point-of-sale transactions accurately, process payments, and ensure that all store policies are followed while maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Key responsibilities include greeting customers warmly, assisting with product inquiries, processing sales and returns, and operating the cash register with precision. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, restocking shelves, and monitoring inventory levels. Additional duties involve preparing food and beverage items, following food safety guidelines, and ensuring that the store remains safe and welcoming for both customers and team members. You will report any maintenance issues promptly and assist with promotional displays to drive sales.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and previous customer service or retail experience. Candidates should be at least 18 years old and possess basic math and computer skills. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical for success in this position, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset. Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and the ability to stand for extended periods are also required.
