Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including initial assessments, diagnostic interviews, and risk evaluations through video consultations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, and anxiolytics while monitoring efficacy and side effects. Provide ongoing psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and counseling to adults, adolescents, and families dealing with conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, primary care providers, and social workers, to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations, and participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Active PMHNP licensure in California with national certification from ANCC or equivalent. Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in psychiatric-mental health. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, preferably in telehealth or outpatient settings. DEA registration for controlled substances and familiarity with California prescribing laws. Current CPR certification and ability to pass background checks.
