Full Description
As the Supervisor of Inside Sales at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will oversee a dynamic team responsible for driving sales performance through proactive customer outreach and relationship management. This leadership role combines strategic oversight with hands-on coaching, ensuring your team consistently meets and exceeds revenue targets while delivering exceptional service to scientific and research customers across Kansas.
In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing sales representatives, establishing clear performance metrics, and implementing effective sales strategies. Daily responsibilities include monitoring call quality and conversion rates, conducting regular team meetings, analyzing sales data to identify opportunities, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to align messaging with customer needs. You will also handle escalated customer concerns and work closely with upper management to refine processes that improve both efficiency and customer satisfaction.
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, along with at least three years of inside sales experience and one year in a supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of CRM platforms, sales analytics tools, and virtual communication software is essential. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in the life sciences or laboratory equipment industry, proven ability to coach diverse teams, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
