Job Overview: AgriVision Equipment, in partnership with PrairieLand Partners, is seeking a dynamic Turf Sales Representative based in Wichita, KS. This role focuses on promoting and selling specialized turf equipment, including mowers, aerators, and maintenance tools, to key customers in the landscaping, golf course, sports field, and municipal sectors. As a vital part of our team, you will represent leading brands to deliver solutions that enhance turf health and operational efficiency, contributing to our mission of supporting agricultural and turf professionals across Kansas.
Key Responsibilities: Prospect and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory by identifying potential clients such as golf courses, parks departments, and commercial landscapers. Conduct product demonstrations, provide technical advice on equipment features, and close sales to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular follow-ups, personalized service, and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with service technicians and parts teams to ensure seamless post-sale support. Track sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities using CRM software, while preparing reports for management. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer appreciation functions to expand our market presence. Stay updated on turf industry innovations, product launches, and regulatory changes to position our offerings effectively.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Horticulture, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience in sales or turf management. Minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience, ideally in equipment, agriculture, or turf-related products. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight stays. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems like Salesforce.
Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse clients. Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a results-driven mindset. Technical knowledge of turf equipment, maintenance practices, and industry standards. Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
