Job Overview Matrix Medical Network is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team full-time in Richmond, MO. Key Responsibilities As an NP or PA, you will conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations. Collaboration with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to ensure coordinated care. You will educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications. Documenting all encounters accurately in electronic health records and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations are critical daily tasks. Expect to manage a varied caseload, adapting to diverse patient needs in dynamic environments. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Missouri, with national certification (e.g., ANCC, AANP for NPs; NCCPA for PAs). A Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited program is required, along with at least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care, geriatrics, or home health. Current DEA registration and BLS certification are mandatory. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid guidelines is essential. Skills Exceptional clinical judgment and diagnostic skills are paramount, paired with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients of all ages. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Epic or Cerner, and telehealth platforms is required. You should demonstrate strong organizational skills for managing schedules and caseloads, cultural competence for diverse populations, and a commitment to ethical practice. Problem-solving in fast-paced settings and adaptability to field-based work round out the ideal skill set.
