Job Overview
Worldpay, a global leader in payment processing and financial technology solutions, is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative specializing in Point of Sale (POS) systems for the Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri areas. This full-time field-based role offers the opportunity to engage directly with merchants, demonstrate cutting-edge POS technologies, and drive significant revenue growth in a competitive market. As part of our sales team, you'll leverage Worldpay's innovative payment solutions to help businesses streamline operations, accept diverse payment methods, and enhance customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking events, and territory management in Kansas City and St. Louis. Conduct compelling product demonstrations of POS hardware and software, highlighting features like contactless payments, inventory management, and analytics. Build and nurture long-term relationships with merchants across retail, hospitality, and service industries. Negotiate contracts, overcome objections, and close high-value deals to meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction. Track sales activities in CRM systems, analyze performance metrics, and provide market insights to refine strategies. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in payment processing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2-3 years proven success in outside sales, ideally in fintech, POS, or merchant services. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Kansas City and St. Louis territories. Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
