DCH Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Physician Practice Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to deliver exceptional patient care in our Tulsa, Oklahoma location. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced oncologists and healthcare professionals in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on comprehensive cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
The Oncology Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care including assessment, treatment administration, and ongoing monitoring of oncology patients throughout their cancer journey. Daily duties encompass administering chemotherapy and other cancer treatments, managing patient symptoms and side effects, educating patients and families about treatment protocols and self-care strategies, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The nurse will also assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Oklahoma with current BLS and ACLS certifications. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, along with previous oncology nursing experience or certification in oncology nursing (OCN). Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of chemotherapy protocols are essential.
