Job Overview: Corteva Agriscience, a leading global agriculture company, is seeking a dynamic District Sales Manager for its Hoegemeyer brand in Kansas. This full-time role focuses on driving sales of hybrid seeds, crop protectants, and agronomic solutions to farmers and distributors across the district. The ideal candidate will leverage market insights and relationships to expand market share, deliver exceptional customer value, and contribute to Corteva's mission of enriching the lives of those who produce and consume the world's food.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed district targets for Hoegemeyer products. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including farmers, cooperatives, and retailers, providing tailored agronomic advice and solutions. Conduct field demonstrations, market analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical services, and supply chain, to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction. Monitor sales performance using CRM tools, prepare forecasts, and deliver regular reports to regional leadership. Represent Corteva at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote brand visibility and gather market feedback. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies in agricultural sales practices.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Agronomy, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in agriculture, preferably with seeds, crop inputs, or agribusiness products. Strong understanding of Kansas farming practices, soil types, cropping systems, and local market dynamics. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the district, including overnight stays.
Skills: Exceptional sales acumen with a track record of meeting quotas in competitive markets. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software like Salesforce. Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making and territory planning.
