Amerit Consulting is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in a remote contract position exclusively for Texas residents. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer support through multiple communication channels including phone, email, and chat platforms. The ideal candidate will handle customer inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain accurate records of all interactions while ensuring exceptional service quality. Key Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally across multiple communication platforms, troubleshooting problems and providing effective solutions to customer concerns, maintaining detailed documentation of all customer interactions and resolutions, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary, and meeting established performance metrics for response time and customer satisfaction scores. Representatives will also process customer requests accurately within established guidelines, collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service delivery, participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on products and procedures, and provide feedback to improve service processes and customer experience. Required Qualifications include previous customer service experience in a call center or support environment, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with computer systems and customer relationship management software. Candidates must demonstrate problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult conversations professionally. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in telecommunications, utilities, or healthcare industries is advantageous.
