Key Responsibilities Lead a team of enterprise sales representatives, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to exceed quarterly and annual quotas. Develop and execute regional sales strategies tailored to large enterprise clients in transportation, construction, logistics, and related industries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, customer success, and partners to identify opportunities, forecast accurately, and close complex deals. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to refine go-to-market approaches and expand Samsara's footprint in the North East. Conduct executive-level engagements, negotiate contracts, and foster long-term relationships with C-suite stakeholders. Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track pipeline, generate reports, and ensure data-driven decision-making. Travel up to 50% within the region to meet clients, attend industry events, and build network presence. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of enterprise software or SaaS sales experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing sales teams. Proven track record of surpassing quota in high-growth tech environments, ideally within IoT, telematics, or fleet management sectors. Deep understanding of the North East US market dynamics, including enterprise buyers in logistics and construction. Experience selling to Fortune 500 companies with deal sizes exceeding $1M annually. Skills Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities with a player-coach mentality. Strategic thinker skilled in consultative selling, solution architecture, and value-based negotiations. Proficiency in Salesforce, Gong, and other sales enablement tools. Strong analytical skills for forecasting, pipeline management, and ROI demonstrations.
