Oscar Health is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our remote team in Georgia. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our health insurance members, providing timely and accurate assistance with their coverage needs. You will handle a variety of customer interactions, including answering questions about benefits, resolving claims issues, and guiding members through enrollment processes. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving member satisfaction and retention while supporting the company's mission to make healthcare simpler and more transparent.
Key responsibilities include managing inbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries with professionalism and empathy. You will accurately document member interactions in our systems, process requests such as ID card replacements and provider searches, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary. Additional duties involve educating members on plan details, coordinating with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with all HIPAA and regulatory requirements. Success in this position requires consistent achievement of performance metrics related to response time, quality, and member satisfaction.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of customer service experience preferably in healthcare or insurance.
