Google is seeking an experienced Agency Sales Lead to join our Large Customer Sales team in Chicago, Illinois. This role focuses on developing and managing strategic partnerships with major advertising agencies, driving revenue growth, and delivering innovative advertising solutions that help clients achieve their business objectives. The position requires a deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, agency operations, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles with high-value accounts.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing territory strategies for assigned agency partners, managing end-to-end sales processes from prospecting through closing, conducting business reviews and strategy sessions with agency leadership, collaborating with internal product and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions, and consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue targets. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, representing Google at industry events, and providing market feedback to influence product development.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 or more years of experience in digital advertising sales, agency partnerships, or enterprise-level account management. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
Essential skills include strong relationship-building capabilities, excellent presentation and negotiation abilities, deep knowledge of digital advertising platforms and trends, analytical problem-solving skills, and proficiency with CRM systems. The ideal candidate will also possess experience working with large advertising agencies and understanding of programmatic advertising, video, search, and display advertising solutions.
