Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Associate Representative, you will handle inbound calls, emails, and chats from members seeking assistance with healthcare inquiries. Your primary duties include verifying member information, explaining coverage details, processing claims updates, and resolving issues related to prescriptions, appointments, and billing. You will document interactions accurately in our CRM system, escalate complex cases to specialists, and follow up to ensure member satisfaction. Additionally, you'll promote Cigna's digital tools and wellness resources to enhance the member experience and contribute to team goals through quality assurance metrics. Required Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or call centers. Strong proficiency in computer systems and typing speed of 35+ WPM is required. Availability to work full-time shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential. A quiet home workspace with reliable high-speed internet (minimum 10 Mbps download/upload) and a dedicated phone line is mandatory for remote work. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial, along with active listening and empathy to build rapport with diverse customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software like Salesforce, and multiline phone systems is highly valued. Problem-solving abilities, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) will set you apart. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
