Job Overview
DoiT, a leading cloud optimization and management platform, is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Doit Cloud Intelligence in the US Central region, with a focus on Texas and Kansas. As an SDR, you will play a pivotal role in the early stages of our sales process, identifying and nurturing high-potential leads to fuel our rapid growth in the cloud computing sector. This full-time position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge cloud intelligence tools that help enterprises optimize AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure environments for cost savings and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new leads through targeted outbound campaigns using email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels. Qualify inbound leads by assessing their fit against ideal customer profiles and nurturing them through the sales funnel. Conduct discovery calls and demos to uncover customer needs and pain points related to cloud spend optimization. Collaborate closely with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities and support deal progression. Maintain meticulous records in our CRM system (Salesforce) to track activities, pipeline status, and forecasting. Contribute to sales campaigns, content creation, and market research to refine targeting strategies. Meet or exceed monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and pipeline development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales, preferably in SaaS, cloud services, or tech. Proven track record of hitting quotas in a high-volume outbound environment. Strong understanding of cloud computing basics (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. Comfortable making 50+ cold calls per day and handling objections with resilience.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication with a consultative selling approach. Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce, Outreach, or HubSpot. Data-driven mindset with skills in analyzing sales metrics and using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator. High energy, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced startup culture. Team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
