Job Overview Vituity is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Obstetrics team at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center in Fort Collins, Colorado. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to women throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum periods while working alongside experienced physicians and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to obstetric patients in collaboration with attending physicians. Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and manage routine and high-risk pregnancies under physician supervision. Assist with labor and delivery procedures, conduct patient education on prenatal health and newborn care, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal maternal and fetal outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department. Required Qualifications Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado. Minimum of one year clinical experience in obstetrics, women's health, or related field. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols and evidence-based practice guidelines. Skills Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced healthcare environments. Proficiency with electronic health records and medical documentation systems. Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities essential for managing complex obstetric cases.
