Cigna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our remote team, based in Montana. Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will handle inbound calls, emails, and chats from members seeking assistance with healthcare coverage, billing questions, prescription services, and more. You will resolve issues promptly by accessing member accounts, verifying information, and coordinating with internal teams for escalations. Documenting interactions accurately in our CRM system, educating customers on policy details, and identifying upsell opportunities for additional services are core daily tasks. Maintaining empathy, professionalism, and compliance with HIPAA regulations is essential to uphold service standards and member satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. Proficiency in computer systems, including typing speed of 35+ WPM, is required. A quiet home workspace with reliable high-speed internet (minimum 10 Mbps download/upload), a Windows 10+ PC (company-issued equipment provided), and a wired Ethernet connection are mandatory for remote work. Montana residency is required, along with eligibility for state-specific licensing if applicable.
Skills
