Job Overview The Penso Agency is seeking a motivated Remote Customer Service & Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This full-time role focuses on managing inbound leads, delivering top-tier customer service, and driving sales conversions without any cold calling. Based anywhere in Colorado or remotely across the US, you'll play a key role in helping clients achieve their goals through personalized support and persuasive sales techniques. Key Responsibilities Your primary duties will include answering inbound calls and chats from pre-qualified leads generated through our marketing efforts. You'll qualify prospects, address their needs, overcome objections, and close sales for our suite of services, including insurance, financial products, and consulting solutions. Provide ongoing customer support post-sale, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging referrals. Accurately document interactions in our CRM system, track performance metrics, and collaborate with the team to refine sales strategies. Meet or exceed daily call targets and sales quotas to maximize commissions. Required Qualifications Candidates must have at least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, preferably in a call center or remote setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Proven track record in handling inbound sales calls with a focus on conversion. Strong phone presence, active listening skills, and the ability to multitask across multiple digital platforms. Must be authorized to work in the US and available for full-time hours (typically 40 hours per week, with flexible shifts including evenings or weekends as needed). Skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with empathy and rapport-building abilities to connect with diverse customers. Proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot, basic computer skills including Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and familiarity with VoIP phone systems. Sales acumen, including objection handling, upselling, and closing techniques. Time management and self-motivation are crucial for remote success. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
