Full Description

AgHires is seeking a dedicated Agronomy Field Sales Specialist to support farmers and agricultural businesses in Carleton, Nebraska, and surrounding areas. This full-time role combines technical agronomy expertise with strong sales acumen to promote crop protection products, seed solutions, and fertility programs that help maximize farm productivity and profitability. The Agronomy Field Sales Specialist will spend the majority of time in the field meeting with growers, assessing crop conditions, and recommending tailored agronomic solutions based on soil tests, yield data, and pest pressure. Daily responsibilities include developing and executing territory sales plans, conducting on-farm product demonstrations, educating customers on new technologies, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. The specialist will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact product recommendations or customer needs. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in agronomy, crop science, agriculture, or a related field, along with proven sales experience in the agricultural sector. Strong knowledge of crop production practices, pest management, and soil fertility is essential. AgHires offers competitive compensation, performance-based incentives, comprehensive health benefits, and a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement. Employees receive ongoing training on the latest agronomic technologies and products, creating clear pathways for career advancement into regional management or technical specialist roles. This position provides the opportunity to make a direct impact on local agriculture while building long-term customer partnerships in a dynamic, growing industry.
