Job Overview Zayo Group, a leading global communications infrastructure company, is seeking a talented Customer Success Manager to join our remote team based in Illinois. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring they maximize the value of Zayo's high-speed fiber networks, bandwidth, and connectivity services. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work anywhere in Illinois, allowing you to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while contributing to customer loyalty and business expansion. Key Responsibilities You will proactively manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, conducting regular business reviews to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and service optimization. Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to resolve issues swiftly, mitigate churn risks, and deliver tailored solutions that align with client objectives. Develop and execute success plans, track key performance metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and customer health scores, and provide actionable insights to enhance service quality. Foster long-term partnerships by anticipating client needs, communicating product updates, and ensuring seamless onboarding and adoption of Zayo's cutting-edge infrastructure offerings. Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required, along with at least 3-5 years of experience in customer success, account management, or SaaS/telecom services. Proven track record in managing enterprise-level clients within the telecommunications or technology sectors, with demonstrated success in driving retention and revenue growth. Strong understanding of fiber optic networks, colocation, and dark fiber services is highly preferred. Skills Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce, customer analytics platforms, and project management software such as Asana or Jira. Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making, including KPI tracking and forecasting. High emotional intelligence, problem-solving prowess, and adaptability in a remote setting. Technical aptitude to grasp complex networking concepts and translate them into business value.
