Spectrum is seeking a motivated Bilingual Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Grand Island, Nebraska. In this customer-facing role, you will represent Spectrum by visiting residential and small business customers throughout the community to present and sell our comprehensive suite of high-speed internet, cable television, and mobile communication services. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish will be essential as you build trust with diverse customers and deliver tailored solutions that meet their unique connectivity needs. You will serve as the primary point of contact for prospects, guiding them through the sales process from initial introduction to service activation while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer care. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business through proactive door-to-door outreach and community networking, consistently meeting or exceeding assigned monthly sales targets and performance metrics. Daily activities include preparing sales presentations, conducting product demonstrations, completing accurate order documentation, and following up with leads to ensure timely service installation. You will also resolve customer inquiries, overcome objections with product knowledge and value propositions, and maintain detailed records of all customer interactions within Spectrum’s CRM systems. Collaboration with internal teams such as installation technicians and customer service will be critical to delivering a seamless customer experience and maintaining high satisfaction ratings. To succeed in this position, candidates must be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and have reliable transportation. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while previous sales experience in telecommunications, cable, or door-to-door environments is strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, resilience in handling rejection, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential. Candidates should be comfortable with technology and willing to learn Spectrum’s product portfolio and sales tools.
