We are seeking a dedicated Telehealth Family Nurse Practitioner to join our remote team, providing specialized care to patients across California. In this full-time role, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based treatment virtually, helping individuals recover from eating disorders like anorexia, bulimia, and binge-eating disorder. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and initial evaluations for patients with eating disorders, developing personalized treatment plans that integrate medical, nutritional, and psychological interventions. Provide ongoing telehealth consultations, monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, dietitians, and psychiatrists. Prescribe medications when appropriate, educate patients and families on disorder management, and ensure compliance with California healthcare regulations. Participate in case reviews, contribute to program development, and maintain accurate electronic health records using secure platforms. Required Qualifications: Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in California with national certification (e.g., ANCC or AANP). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year specializing in eating disorders or mental health. DEA licensure for prescribing controlled substances and proficiency in telehealth platforms. Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Must be eligible to practice independently or under collaborative agreements per California law. Skills: Strong clinical expertise in eating disorder diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention. Excellent communication and empathy skills for building rapport in virtual settings. Proficiency in EHR systems like Epic or Cerner, and comfort with video conferencing tools such as Zoom or Doxy.me.
