Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate leads within the enterprise financial sector using targeted outreach, networking events, and digital campaigns. Conduct in-depth needs assessments and product demonstrations to showcase how SS&C's solutions address complex challenges in fund accounting, portfolio management, and operations automation. Negotiate complex contracts, manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including pre-sales engineers, product specialists, and customer success managers to ensure seamless onboarding. Maintain meticulous CRM records, provide accurate sales forecasting, and continuously analyze market trends to refine strategies and achieve quarterly quotas. Foster long-term client partnerships through exceptional post-sale support and upselling opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced certifications like CFA or Series 7 preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of proven enterprise sales experience, ideally in financial technology, SaaS, or capital markets software. Demonstrable track record of surpassing sales targets, with experience managing deals exceeding $500K in value. Strong understanding of financial services industry dynamics, including asset management, hedge funds, and banking operations.
Skills
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts to C-suite executives. Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, along with sales enablement platforms like Seismic or Gong. Advanced negotiation and closing techniques, coupled with strategic account planning expertise. Analytical mindset for pipeline management and forecasting; self-motivated with resilience in a high-pressure environment. Tech-savvy with knowledge of fintech trends, cloud solutions, and AI-driven financial tools.
