This fully remote position, available anywhere in the US, focuses on expanding our footprint in the federal government market. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate federal markets, including identifying prospective clients such as government departments and agencies. Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and technical support, to deliver customized solutions that meet federal compliance standards like FedRAMP and NIST. Track sales pipelines, forecast revenue, and report performance metrics using CRM tools to ensure alignment with quarterly and annual targets. Stay abreast of federal procurement processes, regulations, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of proven sales experience in federal government or public sector, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas. Deep knowledge of federal sales cycles, GSA schedules, and contracting vehicles such as GWACs and IDIQs. Experience selling technology or logistics solutions to federal clients is highly desirable.
Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences. Strong negotiation and closing abilities, coupled with strategic thinking and problem-solving expertise. Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and federal sales tools.
