Key Responsibilities You will conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing interpretation. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage chronic conditions, promote preventive care, and educate patients on health maintenance. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR), ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Respond to urgent patient needs, provide counseling on lifestyle modifications, and contribute to on-call rotations as required. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold a Master's degree or higher in Nursing (for NPs) or Physician Assistant Studies, with current national certification (e.g., ANCC, AANP for NPs; NCCPA for PAs). Active Iowa state licensure as an NP or PA is essential, along with at least 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine. BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and familiarity with EHR systems like Epic or Cerner.
