Johnstone Supply is seeking a dedicated Light Commercial HVAC Inside Sales Professional to join our growing team in Palmer, Kansas. In this full-time role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for HVAC contractors and customers, providing expert product recommendations, technical support, and exceptional service to drive sales growth within the light commercial HVAC market.
As an Inside Sales Pro, your key responsibilities will include responding to inbound calls and emails from customers, assisting with product selection, pricing, and availability, and processing orders accurately and efficiently. You will maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while identifying opportunities to expand business through upselling and cross-selling HVAC equipment, parts, and accessories. Daily tasks also involve staying current on industry trends, new products, and manufacturer updates to provide accurate technical guidance and support to customers with varying levels of HVAC expertise.
Required qualifications for this position include previous inside sales or customer service experience, preferably within the HVAC, plumbing, or related wholesale distribution industries. Candidates should possess strong product knowledge of HVAC systems and components, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build rapport quickly with contractors and business owners. Proficiency with CRM systems, order entry software, and Microsoft Office applications is essential, along with a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
