Job Overview McLane Company, Inc., a leading supply chain services leader in North America, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative II to join our team in North Carolina. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer support, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the seamless operation of our grocery and foodservice distribution network. As a key point of contact for customers, you will handle complex inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and foster long-term relationships that drive business success. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels, providing accurate information on orders, deliveries, and account status. Process customer orders, returns, and adjustments while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated service issues, collaborating with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and warehouse operations to deliver timely solutions. Maintain detailed customer records in CRM systems, track interactions, and generate reports to monitor service performance and identify improvement opportunities. Analyze customer feedback to suggest process enhancements and contribute to team training initiatives. Promote additional products or services to meet customer needs and upsell opportunities, while upholding high standards of professionalism and accuracy in all communications. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience, ideally in a call center, retail, or distribution environment. Proven track record of handling high-volume customer interactions and resolving complex issues. Familiarity with supply chain or logistics operations is a plus. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. Solid organizational skills and basic data analysis capabilities. Team player with adaptability to shifting priorities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
