This position plays a vital role in connecting agricultural producers with high-quality seed products and expert agronomic advice. As an Inside Sales Agronomist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking guidance on seed selection, crop management, and soil health solutions. You will leverage your agronomy knowledge to recommend the best products and practices that help customers achieve optimal yields and sustainable farming outcomes. In this role, you will actively engage with customers through phone, email, and digital platforms to understand their operational needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Working closely with the field sales and product teams, you will stay informed on seed varieties, agronomic trends, and market conditions to deliver timely and relevant advice. You will also participate in developing sales strategies, preparing quotes, and following up on leads to meet or exceed revenue targets. To succeed in this position, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in agronomy, crop science, soil science, or a related agricultural field. A minimum of two years of experience in agronomic sales, crop consulting, or agricultural customer service is required. Strong knowledge of seed products, crop production systems, and common agronomic challenges is essential. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to build rapport with farmers and agricultural professionals, and proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for training or customer events are also necessary. NativeSeed Group is a leading provider of native grass and forage seed solutions dedicated to supporting sustainable agriculture and land restoration across the United States. We value innovation, integrity, and a customer-first mindset. Team members enjoy competitive compensation, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, paid time off, and professional development opportunities. We foster a collaborative work environment where employees can grow their careers while making a meaningful impact on the agricultural industry. This role offers clear pathways for advancement into regional sales management, product specialist positions, or technical agronomy leadership. Employees receive ongoing training on the latest seed technologies and agronomic research to support continuous learning and career progression.
