Full Description
Job Overview
Weather Contracting, a leader in weather protection and contracting solutions, is seeking a dynamic National Sales Specialist to join our team in Illinois. This full-time role involves promoting and selling our innovative products and services nationwide, helping clients safeguard their projects against weather-related risks. As a key player in our sales division, you will represent our commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction in the construction and contracting industries.
Key Responsibilities
You will develop and execute sales strategies to expand our market presence across the United States, identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. Responsibilities include conducting market research to understand customer needs, preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of solutions, provide product training to clients and partners, track sales metrics using CRM software, and generate reports on sales performance and forecasts. Travel will be required to attend trade shows, client meetings, and industry events to build networks and promote our brand.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, coupled with at least 3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in construction, contracting, or weather protection sectors. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50% nationally are essential. Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and a track record of meeting sales quotas in a competitive environment are required.
Skills
Success in this role demands exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written, to engage diverse stakeholders. You should be proficient in relationship-building, with strong analytical abilities to interpret market data and sales trends. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting, and familiarity with sales analytics tools is crucial. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, resilient, with a results-oriented mindset, excellent time management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven setting. Knowledge of weatherproofing products, construction industry trends, and B2B sales cycles is highly advantageous.
