S&C Electric Company is seeking an experienced Software Engineer III to join our innovative engineering team in Chicago, Illinois. In this senior-level role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions that support critical power infrastructure and smart grid technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, product managers, and quality assurance specialists to deliver reliable and scalable applications that meet the evolving needs of the energy sector. Your contributions will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and intelligence of modern electrical distribution systems worldwide.
Key Responsibilities include leading the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering and architecture design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
