This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive primary care services to diverse patient populations, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic condition management in a supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing to formulate accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, order and interpret lab results, and perform minor procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure coordinated care. Educate patients and families on disease management, preventive health measures, and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and adhere to VA protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to clinic operations for efficient patient flow. Required Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (for FNPs) or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program. Current, unrestricted licensure as an FNP or PA in Kansas, with national certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care, family medicine, or VA settings. DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification required; experience with VA-specific systems like CPRS is a plus. Valid background check and ability to meet credentialing requirements.
