Job Description
INFUSE seeks a remote Associate In-House Counsel to provide legal support for business operations, contracts, and compliance. Join our innovative team to safeguard growth while working flexibly from anywhere in the US.
Full Description
INFUSE is seeking a talented Associate In-House Counsel to join our dynamic legal team in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role will provide essential legal guidance to support our rapid growth in the technology and infusion services sector, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and enabling strategic business initiatives that drive company success and innovation across the United States.
As Associate In-House Counsel, you will handle a diverse range of day-to-day legal tasks critical to our operations. Daily responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, partnership deals, and customer contracts to protect company interests. Weekly, you will conduct legal research on emerging regulations in healthcare technology and data privacy, advising departments on compliance matters. Monthly, prepare reports on legal risks and deliverables for executive leadership, while collaborating closely with sales, product, finance, and engineering teams to support product launches and business development projects. You will also manage intellectual property filings, respond to regulatory inquiries, conduct internal training sessions on legal best practices, and oversee litigation matters with external counsel when needed, tracking key metrics like contract turnaround time and compliance audit scores to measure impact.
To succeed in this role, candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar. We require 3-5 years of relevant in-house or law firm experience, ideally in technology, healthcare, or SaaS industries, with proven expertise in contract law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Proficiency in legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis is essential, along with familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA regulations. Strong knowledge of intellectual property law and experience with M&A transactions are highly preferred.
The ideal candidate excels in a variety of technical and soft skills tailored to our fast-paced environment. Technically, you should be adept with contract management software such as DocuSign, Ironclad, or ContractWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite for document drafting. Soft skills including exceptional written and verbal communication, keen analytical thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders are crucial. You must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset to thrive in our remote-first culture, while maintaining ethical judgment under pressure.
INFUSE is a forward-thinking company revolutionizing infusion therapy through cutting-edge technology solutions, with a mission to improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare delivery. Our values of innovation, integrity, and inclusivity shape a collaborative team structure featuring small, agile legal and business units. We foster a unique culture emphasizing work-life balance, continuous learning, and employee empowerment in a supportive, remote-friendly environment that celebrates diversity and bold ideas.
We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience, as salary details are not specified but tailored to market rates for remote legal roles. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and life/disability coverage. Enjoy generous PTO with 20+ days annually, flexible remote work arrangements, professional development stipends, wellness programs, stock options, performance bonuses, and perks like home office setups and mental health support to ensure your well-being and long-term success.
