INFUSE is seeking a talented Associate In-House Counsel to join our remote legal team. In this position, you will provide comprehensive legal counsel on a daily basis, drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and corporate documents to support sales, partnerships, and vendor relationships. Weekly, you will conduct legal research on emerging regulations in technology, data privacy, and intellectual property, advising cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and executive leadership. You will manage compliance programs, perform risk assessments for new product launches, and collaborate with external counsel on complex litigation matters. Monthly responsibilities include preparing board reports on legal matters, training staff on compliance protocols, and tracking key metrics such as contract turnaround time and dispute resolution rates. You will also handle regulatory filings, negotiate licensing deals, and contribute to policy development, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives while leading junior legal support when needed. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and possess active membership in at least one U.S. state bar. We require a minimum of 3-5 years of in-house counsel or law firm experience, with a strong emphasis on technology, SaaS, or software industry practices. Proficiency in legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis, contract management software such as DocuSign or Ironclad, and knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and IP law are essential. Prior experience in corporate transactions, employment law, and regulatory compliance is highly preferred, along with any relevant certifications like CIPP/US for privacy expertise. Success in this role demands exceptional analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and superior written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
